"I Despise Depression" is a poem I wrote after my own struggle with a bout of depression hoping to help those who don't struggle with it - to understand, and more importantly, to help those who do struggle with it, to not feel alone in their struggle. Mental health is so very important as is the need to be able to be more open about this topic. I jog to help overcome my own battles and own bouts with it.
