This piece was created when I was feeling stuck creatively and going through a dry spell as an artist. I made up my mind that I was going to pack up my art supplies and give up. On the day I planned to pack everything away, a vision of this painting came to me. I immediately when into my studio and
"Broken Spirit" was born. Needless to say, my studio remained in tact and I never gave up.
